How to Make Char Siu Glutinous Rice Chicken

Ingredients:
Chicken meat Marinade:Chicken breast, BBQ sauce,soy sauce,sugar, salt, cooking oil
Rice glutinous rice Marinade: soy sauce, sugar, salt, cooking oil
Steps:
1. Cut the chicken breast into cubes, wash it, and dry it.
2. Add one tablespoon of BBQ sauce.
3. Add one spoon of soy sauce.
4. Add one spoon of sugar.
5. Pour in a little cooking oil, mix well, cover with cling film, and refrigerate overnight.

1. Rinse the glutinous rice and soak it for more than 2 hours.
2. Mix the glutinous rice with soy sauce, sugar, salt, and cooking oil, marinate for over half an hour.
3. Clean the bamboo leaves and place them on a steamer basket.
4. Layer the glutinous rice.
5. Add a layer of chicken.
6. Cover with the remaining glutinous rice.
7. Wrap the bamboo leaves around, secure with toothpicks.
8|Steam Boil water in a pot, place the steamer basket inside, and steam for 1 hour.(For a softer and more glutinous texture, increase the cooking time.)
9. Serve once cooked, plate it.

Tips:
1. Chicken breast is not easy to absorb flavors, marinating overnight in the refrigerator will produce better results!
2. Soak the glutinous rice for half a day or more for shorter steaming time.
3. Marinate the glutinous rice to enhance flavor absorption.
4. Increase the cooking time for a softer and more glutinous texture.
5. Use lotus leaves if you don't have bamboo leaves.
