How to Make Eight Treasure Rice?
Eight Treasure Rice Preparation Method (Example for five servings):
1. Prepare the ingredients,Rice 500 grams,Sugar 200 grams,Lard 75 grams, red bean paste 125 grams,Raisins,Pumpkin Seeds,Walnuts, sugar coated lotus seeds, appropriate green and red melon strips, a little preserved pork fat.2. Rinse the rice thoroughly, soak it in cold water for about 5-6 hours, drain well, loosely place it in a steamer basket (with a thin cloth laid inside), steam over high heat until fully cooked, mashed Rice and transfer to an appropriate container. Mix with sugar and lard, add some hot water, stir well and set aside.
3. Take 5 small bowls, grease the bottom of each bowl, arrange raisins, longan meat, sugar coated lotus seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnut kernels, green and red melon strips on the bottom according to a pattern, place a little steamed rice, add some red bean paste, then fill with more steamed rice to the rim, press flat.
