How to Make Scallion Pancakes?
Ingredients:Flour Anqi yeast Milk Sugar, salt, five-spice powder Sesame seeds Oil, chives
Method:
1. Place flour in a bowl, warm milk and add yeast and a little sugar, mix well, pour into the flour to form a dough, knead for a few minutes until the dough is smooth.
2. Put the kneaded dough in a bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
3. Take out the risen dough, place on a work surface and knead further to give the dough strength. Let it rest for a while.
4. Roll out the dough into a large round sheet, sprinkle salt evenly over it, press down slightly, then apply sesame oil in the dough, spread evenly, add five-spice powder and chopped chives, roll from one end to the other to form a thick long roll.
5. Cut the rolls into uniform pieces, stretch each piece slightly and twist into flower buns. 6. After all flower buns are made, place them in a steamer and let them rise for fifteen minutes, then steam until cooked.
After all the flower rolls are done,steamed on the steamer pot. Let them ferment for another 15 minutes, then steam until cooked through.
