Yam is rich in protein, vitamins, fats, and amylase, as well as iodine, calcium, iron, and phosphorus, which are essential inorganic salts and trace elements for the human body. It has the effects of tonifying the spleen and stomach, nourishing the lungs, and benefiting the kidneys.
Ingredients:
600 grams of yam, minced garlic , ginger, white vinegar , sugar, salt, chicken essence in appropriate amounts.Process: 1. Wash the yam and blanch it in boiling water for 1 minute, then peel off the skin (the juice from raw yam can itch on the skin; blanching will solve this issue).
2. Peel and cut the yam into rhombus slices.
3. Rinse with cold water to prevent the yam from oxidizing and turning color.
4. Remove the yam from the cold water, blanch it in boiling water for a moment, then rinse and drain thoroughly.
5. Mix salt, chicken essence, sugar, white vinegar, garlic, and ginger into a sauce in a pot.
6. Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the yam slices, pour the prepared sauce over them, mix evenly, and serve on a plate when done.
Stir-fried, it becomes crispy with a bit of water chestnut-like texture, refreshing to eat. It is much better than boiling it.
Caution:
