How to Steam Chicken with Winter Mushrooms?
Main ingredients: (when) net tender chicken 1 whole (about 1 pound, 500 grams), large winter mushrooms,dried red dates,each 4 pieces,and century eggs, 1 sausage strip,ginger strips about 2 pieces, white onion segments 4 small (optional), a little vegetable oil and cornstarch, a little sugar.Seasoning: marinade: oyster sauce 1 tablespoon, soy sauce
1 teaspoon, sugar 1 teaspoon, sesame oil 1 teaspoon, rice wine 2 teaspoons, cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon, salt,and pepper powder a little.Preparation: 1. Soak the winter mushrooms in water until soft, remove the stems and drain, cut into pieces, add a little vegetable oil, sugar, and cornstarch to marinate briefly. 2. Soften the red dates in hot water, remove the pits, slice each one;
cut the sausage into thin slices.3. Remove the breast, legs, and wings from the chicken, cut them, place in marinade, marinate for a moment, then arrange with mushrooms, ginger, and red dates on the plate, steam over boiling water at high heat for ten minutes.4. Place scallion segments on top of the chicken, steam for one more minute, then remove to serve.
