How to Make Tofu Seaweed Soup
The Name:TofuMozuku Seaweed Soup
Main Ingredients: 1 block of tofu, 2 pieces of mozuku seaweed, 1 tomato, 1 jiang dousi (about 40 grams), 8 cups of vegetarian stock, a little salt.
Method:
1. Wash all ingredients, cut the mozuku seaweed into small pieces, the tomato into corner blocks, the jiang dousi into strips, and the tofu into four pieces.
2. Boil the vegetarian stock in a pot, first add the tofu, tomato, and jiang dousi strips, stir-fry for a moment, then put in the mozuku seaweed and season with salt to taste.
Notes:
1. The tofu can be briefly boiled in hot water, then rinsed with cold water to remove any beaniness.
2. The mozuku seaweed should only be added for a moment; do not cook for too long.
3. The method for making vegetarian stock is described in the appendix at the back of the book. If you use meat-based stock, it will taste even better.
