Leftover Rice with Filtered Fried Oil
Bananas are fruits that people love. However, they can turn black and develop spots in just a day after being brought home. If you suspend them with a rope, look, they remain fresh even after three or four days.
Fried foods require a lot of oil to be fried at high temperatures for them to be both fragrant and crispy.However, reused frying oil can develop an unpleasant odor after one or two uses; discarding it would be a waste. Just pour half a bowl of leftover rice into the oil. After frying, you can filter out the used oil.
New kitchenware often comes with labels that are difficult to remove and may leave adhesive residue on them, which is hard to clean. However, using a hair dryer to heat the label for one minute before removing it makes it easier.
In Singapore's hot weather, feet tend to sweat, and shoes can develop unpleasant odors after prolonged wear. Try putting a little bit of Chinese tea in a tea bag and placing it inside your shoe; by the next day, the bad smell will be gone.
