The five "golden points" for anti-aging body care.
Familiar to everyone, the golden ratio of 0.618 is often followed by doctors and health experts in their views on human bodies; many key health points align with this golden section, making it possible to delay aging by accurately finding these points.
Accelerated aging after age 62
If we set life as a span of 100 years, the age when most people start experiencing health issues is around 62, and after that, the body begins to age more rapidly in every aspect. A person's peak age is generally around 38, so for young people, by 38, they have economic and family supports. Investing more in health at this stage can effectively combat aging.
There are golden acupoints in the human body
The human body is the most excellent artwork in the world; following the golden section points will reveal five major golden acupoints. At 0.618 of the distance from the top of the head to the back of the neck, located at the center of the top of the head, is the Baihui point. At 0.618 of the distance from the heel to the toes, it is the Yongquan point, located on the sole of the foot; at 0.618 of the distance from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head, it is the Guanyuan point, located four fingers below the navel. Starting from the chin and measured as 0.618 of the way up the head, it is the Yintang point, at the midpoint between the two eyebrows. In the middle part of the body, on the trunk, the Tianshu point (at 0.618) is located between the two nipples. These five acupoints are crucial for anti-aging and should be massaged regularly.
Sleep's golden ratio: 7.5 hours
In a day consisting of one full cycle of 24 hours, dividing the day and night into 12-hour segments each, the ideal sleep duration is about 7.5 hours, which is the product of applying the golden ratio to the nighttime. This amount of sleep time suits most people well. Generally speaking, sleeping early, no later than 10 PM for most adults and by 9 PM for seniors, is the best routine.
The dental care gold point: age 50
By around ages 59 to 80, teeth typically fall out; hence, dental care's golden period is between ages 35 and 50. For people over 50, a simple and practical method to care for their teeth is to drink less strong tea and instead chew on the leaves. Green tea works best as it can both protect teeth and remove oral odor.
Protecting internal organs to prevent age spots
Anti-aging in appearance hinges on protecting one's internal organs, with liver and kidney health being particularly important. People who have poor liver or kidney function often develop more pronounced dark spots and age spots. Zhang Guoxi says that the golden point for caring for the liver and kidneys is on the back; regularly using an empty palm to slap the back can speed up detoxification of these organs, improving skin tone. For those who already have pigmentation, combining a homemade mask could be beneficial. Mix 30 grams of bitter almonds (note that bitter almonds are used because they have whitening effects), 200 milliliters of water, and blend in a blender. Add two tablespoons of glycerin and apply as a facial mask.
