How to Make Osmanthus Glutinous Rice Porridge
Ingredients: upper white rice rice glutinous rice 1.5 kilograms osmanthus flowers 15 grams red beans (select large red variety) 750 grams sugar 1.25 kilograms
Preparation method: 1. Wash the red beans, remove impurities, and place them in a pot, adding sufficient water to boil over high heat.Boil for after boiling, switch to low heat and simmer until they split open, then remove;the sugar is added with about 1 kilogram of boiling water, boiled until melted, filtered, and made into pure syrup.2. Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly, then use a copper pot to add about 15 kilograms of water, boil over wood fire, pour in the glutinous rice, cover tightly and continue boiling until the red beans are nearly cooked. Continue cooking over low heat for several minutes before serving, which can yield about 50 bowls.
