How to Make Strawberry Pastries
Strawberry DaFu ingredients:Sticky Rice Glutinous Rice Powder 120 grams, 120 grams of water, sugar, coconut cream, sufficient red bean paste, several strawberries
How to make strawberry DaFu:
1. Prepare the red bean paste, strawberries, and coconut cream for use;
2. Gradually add water to the sticky rice powder while mixing uniformly until it forms a dough;
3. Place the dough in a bowl, gently press down, then place it in a steamer and steam for about twenty minutes until cooked through;
4. While still hot, divide the steamed dough into portions, mix with sugar, and then wrap each portion in cling film while warm;
5. Take twenty grams of red bean paste, wrap around a strawberry, leaving one-third of the strawberry exposed, then enclose thirty grams of the rice dough around it and coat with coconut cream. Tips:
1. This amount of dough can make about four DaFu; if the strawberries are large, you may need to increase the quantity;
2. While stirring with sugar after steaming will be difficult due to its stickiness, it enhances the dough's adhesiveness;
3. The rice dough can be sticky when handling; applying a bit of salad oil before wrapping makes it easier.
3 Wrapping the glutinous rice balls can be messy, so you can apply some salad oil first.
