How to Make Red Sugar Sweet Potato Glutinous Rice Cake

Ingredients:
2 pounds of sweet potatoes, round Glutinous rice 3 pounds,Salad oil 100g, brown sugar 750g, rock sugar 300g, water 3/2 cup
Steps:
1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into slices, place them in a steamer.Steam with medium-high heat for half an hour, then mash until smooth and set aside.
2. Rinse the glutinous rice and drain well, then steam on a steaming tray for 40 minutes.
3. In a dry pan, add salad oil, mix in the seasonings, stir over low heat until fully melted, then bring to a boil with water, pour into the steamed glutinous rice, stir evenly, and turn off the heat.
4. Take a mold, apply a layer of salad oil on the bottom, spread about 1 cm thick layer of glutinous rice, evenly fill with sweet potato filling, then cover with the other half of the glutinous rice, press firmly, cut into 4x4 cm blocks after cooling, and enjoy immediately.Rice Pack tightly, evenly fill one layer with sweet potato filling, then place the other half of the glutinous rice on top and press firmly. Cut into 4×4 cm block shapes, allow to cool before eating.
