How to Make Gui Qi Niu Bian Tang
Ku Gou Niuan Bian Soup ingredients: 1 piece of niuan bian,Chicken meat 250 grams,Goji berries seeds, scallions, cooking wine,Pepper powder,MSG,Ginger,Cassia seeds,Fine salt as appropriate.
Preparation of Ku Gou Niuan Bian Soup:
1) Scrape off the coarse skin of niuan bian, split it open, clean out the membrane, wash, cut into pieces. Clean chicken meat and ginger, scallions; crush the ginger, tie the scallions into a knot.
2) Place a pot on fire, add water, put in niuan bian, bring to boil, add scallions and cooking wine, cook for 15 minutes, remove niuan bian, discard all ingredients used, repeat this process three times.
3) Place the pot back on fire, pour in fresh water, add chicken meat and niuan bian, bring to boil, skim off foam, add cooking wine, ginger, scallions, cassia seeds, simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Remove ginger and scallions, remove chicken meat for other use, add pepper powder, fine salt, MSG, cook until the niuan bian is tender, thicken the soup with medium fire, add goji berries, serve when the soup is thick.
