Method:

1 Ingredients: 500 grams of shrimp skins, equipment:microwave oven wok, blender (or rolling pin if unavailable)

2 Soak the shrimp skins in water a few times. Shrimp skins are usually dried directly after boiling with sea water on the coast, sometimes containing some impurities that should be washed away multiple times to remove harmful substances.

3 After washing, strain out the moisture from the shrimp skins and dry them under the sun if possible for better results.

4 Arrange the well-washed and dried shrimp skins on a baking tray for the microwave.

5 Microwave for 5 minutes using the microwave function.

6 When time is up, open the microwave and stir the shrimp skins with a bamboo stick or fork. Microwave for another 3 minutes (adjust time based on the moisture content of the shrimp skins and the power of your microwave).

7 After the second microwaving, the shrimp skins are still not fully dry. Transfer them to a wok and stir-fry over low heat for 5 minutes.

8 Stop cooking when the color of the shrimp skin changes to yellow.

9 Pour the fried shrimp skins onto a cutting board to cool down.

10 Once cooled, transfer the shrimp skins into a blender grinding bowl and grind them into powder. Alternatively, you can use a rolling pin to crush them into fine pieces.

11 Store the made shrimp skin in a container and seal it for refrigeration, ready to be used at any time.
