Steps to make home-style tofu:

3. Then cut it into triangular pieces.

4. Slice the red chili pepper into rhombus shapes, chop the green onion into segments, and mince the ginger; set aside.

5. Take an uncoated pan and add some cooking oil, then place the tofu in the pan to fry over low heat.

6. When one side of the tofu is golden brown due to contact with the pan, use a spatula to flip it and continue frying until both sides are golden brown.

7. Once both sides of the tofu are fried golden, take out the fried tofu, leaving the oil in the pan for later use.

8. In the remaining oil in the pan, stir-fry the ginger paste and Doubanjiang until fragrant.

9. Add a little sugar.

10. Then add a little salt.11. Next, add the sliced red chili pepper and minced meat; stir-fry for about one minute. 12. Stir-fry the meat until it is mostly scattered and its oil has been released.

13. Add the fried tofu to the pan, along with enough water

16. After five minutes, uncover the pan; when there is only a little sauce left in the pot,

17. turn the heat down and add the chopped green onion segments along with oyster sauce (5 grams); stir-fry until well combined. This classic side dish is now ready to be served.
