How to Make Kelp and Green Bean Sand Candy

Mung beans (150 grams)
Auxiliary materials:

Kelp Mung bean paste Steps:
1. Soak mung beans for 5 hours until swollen and slightly split.

2. Drain the water.

3. Soak dry kelp for 10 minutes, wash off the saltiness, and drain.

4. Cut into fine strips and set aside.

5. Soften dried tangerine peel with water, scrape off the white pith inside, and rinse clean.

6. Bring water to a boil, add mung beans and tangerine peel, cook over high heat for 10 minutes until the mung beans open up.

7. Remove most of the floating mung bean skins.

8. Add kelp, continue cooking on medium heat for another 5 minutes.

9. Add brown sugar until dissolved, turn off heat, and let it sit with the lid on for 10 more minutes.

It is easy to burn after adding sugar, so stir constantly while cooking.
