Homemade Braised Spare Ribs with Carrots Method


Ingredients Main ingredients: hu mushroom 6 pieces,pork 200g,ribs 250g, oil as needed, dried chili peppers 5 pieces,kaffir lime seeds 10 grains,ginger 5g, star anise 1 piece, cinnamon bark 3g, Chinese bay leaf 3 pieces, fennel seed 2g,eight corner flower 4g, Sichuan pepper seeds 1g, green onion 1 stalk,doubanjiang (fermented broad bean and chili paste) 1 tablespoon, aged soy sauce 2 teaspoons, salt as needed 1 tablespoon, aged soy sauce 2 teaspoons, salt to taste
Steps

. Rinse the ribs

2.mushroom peel and cut into dice, pork cut into pieces

3. Prepare the spices, ginger slices, green onion bundles

4. Heat oil in a pot, fry the spices until fragrant

5. Add doubanjiang and fry until red oil appears, then add pork and ribs and fry until the moisture is evaporated

6. Add aged soy sauce and stir well

7. Add mushroom and green onion bundles

8. Add water to cover the ingredients, season with a little salt and simmer for 30 minutes or so
