Homemade Stewed Trotters with Yam

It has been a long time since I had pork shank, and my husband bought some from the newly opened Riting Supermarket today.Yam. With pork shank, he asked me to make Yam Braised Pork Shank.

Ingredients. Main ingredients.
Pork shank 600g, yam 500g, ham 50g, an appropriate amount of cooking wine, salt, enough ginger, and green onion, 2 pieces of bay leaf,Appropriate amount of ginger. And sufficient green onion, 2 pieces of bay leaf,Goji berries. A handful.
Steps.

1. Prepare the ingredients.

2. Peel and wash yam, cut into large chunks,

3. Cut ham into slices, soak in warm water for a moment,

4. Boil pork shank in cold water for 3 minutes, then remove and rinse clean,

5. Place pork shank in a pressure cooker,

6. Pour enough water to cover the pork shank, add ginger, green onion, bay leaf, cooking wine,

7. Add ham slices, cook at high pressure for 25 minutes, then reduce to low heat.

8. After cooling down, add yam and continue cooking at high pressure for another 5 minutes, then turn off the stove.

9. Remove the foam on the surface,

10. Add goji berries,

11. Season with salt, sprinkle some chopped green onion before serving.
Tips.
1. If you have time, use a sandpot. The taste will be better.
2. The ham is already quite salty, so the amount of salt should be controlled appropriately.
