Homemade Red Date Honey Jujube Paste Recipe

After much deliberation, I finally decided to make red date jujube paste with the remaining jujubes.The mountain jujubes will be boiled into red sugar jujube paste. I really don't want to make jujube cake and fruit danpi anymore; they are too time-consuming. This red date jujube paste can help with menstrual issues and is relatively easier—thicker if you prefer, thinner after stirring for 40-60 minutes.

However, the work that cannot be avoided is removing the seeds, which is a tedious task. Fortunately, there aren't many jujubes...

Ingredients: 400 grams of mountain jujubes, 100 grams of red sugar, and appropriate water

Steps:

1. Clean the mountain jujubes, remove the seeds and stems, place them in a blender, add water, and blend. To form a smooth thick paste. Pour into a pot and add red sugar. Boil over medium heat while stirring constantly. When the liquid becomes thicker with visible streaks, reduce to low heat. Continue to simmer until thickened, then turn off the heat. Store in containers sealed, refrigerated or frozen.

This will last for a good while to eat....
