Homemade Red Beans, Job's Tears, and Yam Soup Recipe


To say this is a bowl of porridge, it has no rice, actually it can be considered a health-nourishing soup. mainly include mung beans 100g, rice beans 100g, two pieces of Chinese yam,
8 pitted dates,and two blocks of ancient formula brown sugar. Steps
1. Soak the mung beans and rice beans in advance.

2. Peel the Chinese yam and cut it into small pieces.

3. Place the soaked mung beans and rice beans in a

sandpot,and add washed dates. 4. Boil over high heat, then switch to medium heat.

5. Skim off any foam from the pot.

6. Switch to low heat and simmer slowly until the mung beans and rice beans are soft and tender. Then add the Chinese yam pieces.

7. Continue to simmer until the Chinese yam is also soft and tender.

8. Add ancient formula brown sugar.

9. Boil over high heat until the brown sugar dissolves, then turn off the heat.
