Four Simple Steps to Peel Bamboo Shoots Quick and Easy Illustrated Guide

Bamboo shoots A nutritious and delicious food, but peeling them can be a hassle. Most people peel them by removing the outer layer one by one, which takes a long time for a single shoot. Today, I'm going to demonstrate a completely original and brutal bamboo shoot peeling method, using four simple actions to achieve a high level of skill in removing the outer skin!
1. Cutting off the head:
Use a knife to cut off the base of the shoot, don't worry about it, you can't eat it anyway!
2. Dissection:
Cut from the bottom, vertically in half, I'm lazy, I didn't cut through the bottom, the outer skin is still attached.
3. Peeling:
Peel along the joint between the outer skin and the flesh, you can easily remove the flesh. To demonstrate my ruthless nature, I'm a bit too harsh on this specimen, focusing on the most tender parts.Bamboo tip I lost a little, but this is just an example, students should take note!

4. Polishing:
To achieve a good taste, use a fruit knife to peel off the old skin at the base of the old shoot, if you're confident in your teeth, you can skip this step.

With my long-term training and expertise, it takes me no more than two minutes to process one shoot.
