Yolk Mayonnaise (150 grams) Parsley (a little)Endive( ) Salt ( ) A little freshly ground black pepper
Waldorf Salad preparation steps:
1. Wash the cabbage, then cut it into thin strips.

2. Sprinkle with a little salt and grind some black pepper on it.

3. Soften the cabbage by leaving it for a while, then drain off the water using a colander.

4. Cut the celery into small pieces, peel and core the apple, then cut it into thin slices of appropriate size.

5. Mix the drained cabbage with apple slices and celery pieces evenly.

6. Add the egg yolk mayonnaise, add an appropriate amount of salt, and grind some black pepper to season. Thoroughly mix well, then let it stand for a moment.

7. Finely chop the parsley leaves and cut the nuts into small pieces.

8. Place half of the chopped parsley in the salad bowl and mix well.

9. Use lettuce as the base when serving, then spoon the prepared salad on top and sprinkle with the nut pieces.

10. Sprinkle the remaining chopped parsley on the salad to complete it.

1Tips:
If time allows, letting the mixture sit for two hours after adding the egg yolk mayonnaise will enhance the flavor even more. I used purple endive for the lettuce, but other varieties can also be selected, such as oak leaf lettuce or other types of lettuce.
