Homemade Pumpkin Sweet Potato Meat Buns Recipe

This item pumpkintaro meat buns, without adding a drop of water, are entirely made from pumpkin puree for the dough, with mutton and taro as filling, having a golden yellow exterior that is soft and chewy, making them a sweet and flavorful yet nutritious snack.

Main ingredients: ordinary flour 500 grams, yeast 5 grams, pumpkin puree 400 grams, ground mutton 300 grams, taro 300 grams

Seasonings: 30 grams of plant oil, 20 grams of char siu sauce, salt 2 grams,MSG 2 grams

Preparation:

1. Cut the taro into pieces and stir-fry in a little oil until cooked.

2. Mix the ground meat, taro, plant oil, salt, MSG, and char siu sauce in one direction and set aside.

3. Mix flour with yeast, add pumpkin puree, knead gradually by hand to form a smooth dough.

4. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

5. Knead the risen dough to expel air and knead again for a smooth surface, then cut into equal-sized pieces.

6. Roll each piece of dough into dumpling skin, fill with taro meat filling.

7. Arrange the stuffed buns on a steamer lined with a damp cloth, leaving space between them as they will expand during steaming.8. Allow to rise again until doubled in size. 9. Steam over boiling water for 20 minutes, then let it sit for 5 minutes before opening the lid.
