Homemade Method for Sesame Salt Pancakes


This time, the oil used for brushing was lard. The flavor is too delicious when pan-fried.
Ingredients Main ingredients
200g flour, 15g lard,Sichuan pepper 3g salt,sesame seeds as needed,
and 100g water.

Steps

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and mix it with the flour to form a dough, then cover it with and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

2. Take out the risen dough, knead it on the countertop to release air and make it uniform.

3. Knead the dough into a round shape, roll it out into a rectangular shape with an rolling pin.

4. Brush one layer of lard onto it.

5. Sprinkle with Sichuan pepper salt.

6. Roll up from bottom to top.

7. Cut into small pieces.Cut the seam side upward, flatten by hand, and roll out into a circular shape. Dough, proceed similarly for all.

8. Place the dough with cut side facing up, press it down, and use a rolling pin to form a circle.

Pancake

Heat a little oil in an electric skillet, then place the dough pieces inside.

10. Spread some oil on top of the dough pieces and sprinkle sesame seeds.
11. Cover and pan-fry until both sides are golden yellow.12. Finished pancakes. Tip: If lard is unavailable, peanut oil can be used as a substitute, but it won't taste as good as lard when pan-fried.
