How to Make Chicken Fajitas and Western Rice video

Spanish is now the second most spoken language in the United States, significantly influencing American culture, with many Latin dishes becoming part of everyday cuisine. One such dish is fajitas, which I will introduce today.
To make fajitas, you need to prepare:

- 2 chicken breasts
- 1-2green peppers
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper
- half onion
- 2 green onions
- a little salt

For the marinade, you need:

- 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup soybean oil

- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- For the Spanish Rice:
1 cup long-grain rice

Put cold water and ice cubes in a bowl. Boil 2-3 cups of water in a pot.

Peel and deseed the tomatoes. Keep the juice.
Use the remaining hot water to make the chicken broth.
In a pan on medium-high heat, sauté chopped onions and garlic powder in oil.

Add the long-grain rice.
Cook until the onions are soft.
Add 1.5 cups of chicken broth, tomatoes, and salt to the pan, and bring to a boil.
Transfer to an electric rice cooker and cook.
Increase heat to high for the last step and sauté the peppers and onion strips until they start to char around the edges.
Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes.

Return the vegetables to the pan and heat through.

Top with chopped green onions on the tortillas.
Now you can make authentic and delicious fajitas and Spanish rice at home.
