How to Make Mung Bean Milk Jelly

Ingredients:

  Papaya 1 piece,Milk 200ML, Gelatin sheets 10G, Granulated sugar 10G

Steps:

1. Soak the gelatin in ice water beforehand. Heat the milk with the granulated sugar in a microwave.for about 1-2 minutes until it reaches 40-50 degrees Celsius. 2. After heating, take the mixture out of the microwave and stir to dissolve the bottom sugar. Squeeze excess water from the gelatin and add it to the milk. Stir until fully dissolved, then let it cool down.

3. As shown in Figure 1, wash the papaya and cut off its top.

4. As shown in Figure 2, scoop out the seeds with a small spoon.

5. As shown in Figure 3, pour the cooled milk liquid into the papaya.

6. As shown in Figure 4, fill the papaya nine-tenths full of the milk mixture.

7. As shown in Figure 1, cover the cut top of the papaya back on and secure it with a toothpick. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for 2-3 hours until set.

8. As shown in Figure 2, remove the papaya from the refrigerator. Gently shake if necessary to ensure the jelly has fully set before opening the top.

9. As shown in Figure 3, cut the papaya in half.

10. As shown in Figure 4, cut into pieces and serve.

TIPS:

-The milk should only be heated to 40-50 degrees Celsius; overly hot milk can affect the setting of the gelatin.

Heat the milk to 40-50 degrees only, as too hot milk will affect the gelatin's setting ability.
