Electric Rice Cooker Potstickers


Preserved meatPotato Stewed rice, this main dish I have longed for, it is something our hometown's households make with a large iron pot and firewood. Only then can the golden crispy bottom be produced, giving off an irresistible aroma. But after renovating their old houses into modern ones, many have removed their firewood stoves, making it hard to enjoy this dish even more so when away from home. Fortunately, due to technological advancements in kitchen appliances, using an electric rice cooker can still produce that taste.
Ingredients Main ingredients:Rice 150g, preserved meat 50g, salt 2g, potato 300g
Steps

1. Cut the preserved meat into strips and peel the potato, then cut it into chunks for later use.

2. Heat the pan over medium heat.Pork belly Stir-fry to release oil

3. Add the potato pieces and stir-fry briefly, then add salt.

4. Transfer the stir-fried potatoes into the rice cooker.

5. Rinse the rice twice with clean water.
Place the rice on top of the potatoes.

6. Add enough water to cover the rice by about one finger's width.

7. Press the crispy bottom rice button on the electric rice cooker.

8. Once done, it can be served and eaten immediately.
Tip: Do not add too much water; otherwise,Rice it will become too soupy and unappetizing.
