For decoration: a little coconut flakes, a few black olives

Method for making the pumpkin pie:
1. Soften the butter at room temperature and whip it until it turns white.

2. Add sugar powder and continue whipping until the butter becomes fluffy.

3. Mix in egg yolks thoroughly.

4. Sift in low-gluten flour.

5. Use a spatula to fold until there are no dry ingredients, then chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

6. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces.

7. Place the pumpkin, white sugar, plain butter,egg liquid, etc., in the blender cup.

8. Connect the power source of the blender and select the "fruit" function, then press the start button.

9. After about 2 minutes, the pumpkin puree is ready.


10. Remove the chilled puff pastry from the refrigerator, divide it into two equal parts, take one part and roll it out to an 8-inch size (there are dimension markings on the silicone mat).

11. Place this dough into a pie dish, trim any excess edges, and poke some small holes with a fork.crust into the pie crust.

12. Pour the pumpkin puree filling into the crust (about 80% full).

14. Bake in a preheated oven at the middle rack for 35 minutes until done. After baking, sprinkle some coconut flakes.

3. To make the surface of the dough smoother during rolling, you can place a layer of cling film under and over the dough, then roll through the cling film.
