Steps

Pre-roast peanuts to an eight-matures state, peel off the red skin, and grind them into pieces.Fry the peanut pieces and white sesame seeds in a flat pan over (medium-low heat) until they are fully roasted; add coconut milk powder and granulated sugar before turning off the heat and mixing well to prepare. A separate pot with 200ml of water, 25g of brown sugar, and 25g of rock candy, along with ginger slices, is brought to a boil.

10. Add the cooked rice balls, and simmer on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until they reach your desired color.

11. Sprinkle the pre-cooked peanut sesame mixture before serving for an enhanced flavor.

Tips
1. Be cautious not to roast peanuts and sesame seeds too long; otherwise, they may taste bitter and affect the texture.
2. If using muscovado sugar, substitute it for rock candy where possible; using only brown sugar might result in a darker color.
