Homemade Braised Ribs in Beer Method


Beer enhances the taste of dishes, not only removing the gamey smell from meat and poultry but also tenderizing the meat to make it fresher and less greasy.Known as "liquid bread," beer aids digestion, stimulates appetite, and tonifies the spleen. Ingredients:
Main ingredients: Rib 500g, 1 bottle of beer, oil, salt, green onion, ginger An appropriate amount, 1 star anise, cinnamon sticks, 2 pieces of bay leaf,Soy sauce An appropriate amount,Half a red bell pepper, Chinese radish slices, 5 pieces of rock sugar Steps:Prepare all the ingredients. Blanch the ribs in cold water to leach out the blood.Cut the green peppers into chunks and slice or chop the green onions and ginger. Fry with a little oil until it starts to release its aroma, add chopped ginger and star anise pieces, then bring to a boil.Remove the ribs from the boiling water after blanching and drain them thoroughly. Heat oil in the pan over medium heat on the grill.
Stir-fry the green onions and ginger until fragrant.

Stir-fry the ribs until both sides turn golden brown.

Add soy sauce and stir-fry.Pour in beer, add water if needed. Add star anise, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, and rock sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for about half an hour.

Add the green peppers and radish slices and stir-fry.

Reduce the sauce until thickened.Serve in a dish when done. Tips:

1. Choose beer according to your preference.

2. Adjust salt if needed based on soy sauce taste; add more for those who prefer it salty.

Fry the pan with an appropriate amount of oil on medium heat.

Sauté the scallions and ginger to bring out their fragrance.

Add the spare ribs, fry until both sides are colored.

Add soy sauce and stir-fry.

Pour in beer; if it seems too little, add some water. Add star anise, cloves, cinnamon, and rock sugar.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about half an hour. Boil, then reduce heat and braise for another half an hour or so.

Add the bell peppers.Slice the carrot. Stir-fry with them.

Reduce the sauce.

Remove from heat and serve in a dish.
Tips
1. Choose beer according to your preference.
2. The soy sauce can be salty, so add more salt if the taste is too light.
