Homemade Cinnamon Apple Pie Recipe


Yaoyao doesn't know which animation she saw an apple pie, and after that, she keeps saying she wants to eat it. I'll get the ingredients ready and start making it for you!
Ingredients Main ingredients:Butter 60g,Rice flour 150g, sugar powder 15g, water 50g, apples 550g, additional butter 10g, sugar to taste, Lemon juice an appropriate amount, cornstarch 10g, and some water. Egg wash an appropriate amount Steps 1. Cut the butter into small pieces and soften it at room temperature 2. Pour in rice flour and sugar, mix with a knife 3. Mix by hand until coarse grains form

6. Heat an unstick pan on medium heat, add butter

7. Once the butter melts, pour in the apple pieces and add sugar according to your taste; I used just a little.

8. Cook for some time until the apples start to release their juice, squeeze in lemon juice!

9. Add cinnamon powder and stir well.

10. Mix cornstarch with water and pour into the apple filling when the moisture decreases,

11. Stir quickly until it becomes the apple filling.

12. Remove the pastry dough from the refrigerator, divide it into two pieces in a 2:1 ratio; roll out the larger piece to fit the pie dish slightly bigger 13. Press this larger piece of dough into the pie dish and poke small holes on the surface.

14. Pour in the apple filling.

15. Roll out the remaining 1/2 portion of the dough, cut it into strips,

16. Gradually weave these strips to form the top crust of the pie; fold any excess and roll it out again to make more strips

17. Almost all the dough is used up!

18. Brush the surface of the apple pie with egg wash.

19. Place in the oven at middle rack, 175 degrees for 35 minutes; stop when the top turns golden brown,

20. Remove and cut into pieces to serve!

21. The freshly baked crust is quite crispy; if you prefer a softer texture, let it sit longer before eating.

Tip

I used an 8-inch pizza dish!

Put in the oven on the middle rack, at 175 degrees for 35 minutes, until golden.

Remove and cut into pieces to eat! The pie crust is crisp and hard right out of the oven; those who prefer a softer texture should let it rest longer before eating! The taste is pretty good!
