Homemade Bamboo Shoot Dried Pork Stew Method


Nephew's daughter brought me two bags of wild bamboo shoots, which are very unfamiliar to northerners. I haven't tried them before and decided to let the whole family taste them.Together with braised pork belly,

pork belly 500g, wild bamboo shoots 150g, mung sugar 20g,soy sauce 10ml, green onion 10g,ginger 10g, star anise 5g,salt 10g,monosodium glutamate (MSG) 5g,
steps

1. Prepare ingredients

2. Rinse and soak wild bamboo shoots

3. Boil cut pork belly to remove impurities

4. Add oil to the pot, then sugar

5. Cook the sugar until it melts and turns amber color

6. Add the pork belly and stir-fry until well coated with the caramelized sugar

7. Transfer the sugared pork into a pressure cooker, add enough water, and put in seasonings

8. Select meat cooking mode, press the button

9. Cut the soaked wild bamboo shoots into pieces

10. Remove some of the braised pork from the pressure cooker, add the bamboo shoots, and cook until well flavored
tips
1. The wild bamboo shoots contain salt; soak them to remove it first.
2. Caramelizing the pork belly not only enhances the flavor but also gives a nice color to the dish.
