Secret Recipe for Homemade Ginger Vinegar Sauce
Mince the ginger as finely as possible, then add an appropriate amount of sesame oil and a little salt. Add a bit of sugar and a tiny bit of MSG. Finally, pour in rice vinegar. If you prefer a milder acidity, you can dilute the rice vinegar with an appropriate amount of pure water or cold boiled water.
Our Method for Cooking Baked Garlic Shrimp
1. Clean the shrimp and remove the shrimp legs and the pointed part at the head; drain them and set aside.
2. Heat up a pot of water, add scallion slices, ginger pieces, whole cloves, star anise,cumin seeds, cooking wine, and a little salt.
3. Once the water is boiling, add the prepared shrimp. Cook until the shrimp turns red, then cook for another short while when the water boils again before turning off the heat.
4. Immediately remove the cooked shrimp from the pot and place them on a serving plate. Serve with the ginger vinegar sauce.
