How to Make Steamed Egg Custard


Soft-Boiled Egg Custard Ingredients Introduction
Main Ingredients:
Soil Eggs (3 pieces)(3 pieces) Clams (1 pound)
Auxiliary Ingredients:
Salt ( ) Warm Water ( ) Scallions ( (for decoration))
Steps to Make Soft-Boiled Egg Custard:
1. Soak the clams in water overnight, let them expel sand, and clean their shells.

2. Mix 3 eggs with an appropriate amount of salt in warm water around 40 degrees Celsius and set aside.

3. Steam two-thirds of the egg mixture over a water bath.Cook until fully cooked (about 5 minutes) 4. Put the clams in boiling water, add salt, and cook until their shells open; then turn off the heat and remove them for later use.

5. Arrange the steamed eggs neatly on top of the prepared clams. Place any leftover clam meat into empty clam shells to ensure each shell has two pieces of meat inside.

6. Pour the remaining one-third of the egg mixture over the clam shells, cover with a lid, and steam for another 2 minutes.

7. Serve by garnishing with scallions.

Tips:

Use warm water to mix the egg custard for better appearance.
Mix the egg liquid with warm water for a nicer presentation.
