How to Make Sushi Daikon Radish

Steps to make daikon strips for sushi:
1.White radish Peel, wash, and cut into long strips (or thin slices)

2. As shown in the image, sprinkle with salt and marinate for 20 minutes, drain to remove moisture, making it softer

3. Rinse thoroughly under water

4. In a pot, add enough water (two-thirds of the amount needed to cover the radish), place black mustard seeds, boil, cool down, then strain out the seeds

6. Place the radish in the marinade, cover well, marinate for over 24 hours before removing and eating

7. Black mustard seeds can be bought from a pharmacy or on Taobao, mainly used to color the radish, do not add too much

8. As shown in the image, drain the radish after making sushi and use it while still dry
