How to Make Clear Braised Lamb Ribs

Main ingredients:

Steps for clear stewed ribs:
Prepare the ribs.

Peel and cut winter melon into pieces, set aside.

Slice ginger, keep green onions and garlic whole,

Heat a pot with sufficient water,

Once boiling, add ribs and simmer for about two minutes, then remove from heat. Rinse the ribs under clean water.

Prepare the ribs again in a fresh pot of hot water.

Add water until it is more than enough to stew the ribs. If needed during cooking, you can add boiling water but never cold water.

Place ginger slices, garlic cloves, green onions, and flavoring package in the pot.

Add winter melon pieces until fully cooked; turn off heat after stewing is done.
Using this slow cooking method will better preserve the nutrition in the ribs. Cook the lamb chops until done, then add the winter melon cubes. Slowly simmer to better extract nutrients from the lamb.
