How to Make Braised Pork Belly


Red Braised Pork BellyIngredients Introduction
Main ingredients:
Pork belly(2 pounds)
Side ingredients:
Salt (20 grams)Monosodium glutamate(5g)Ginger (30 grams) Rice wine (30 grams) Five-spice powder (5 grams) Sugar (20 grams) Water (as needed) Sesame seeds (as needed) White sesame(as needed) Old soy sauce (40 grams)
Steps to make red braised pork belly:
1. Clean the pork belly and cut it into pieces.

2. Boil in water, then remove from heat after it boils.

3. Put back into boiling water with sufficient coverage as the slow cooking will take about 2 hours (since I need a lot of water evaporation), add ginger slices and rice wine,soy sauce(old soy sauce), salt, bring to a boil then simmer for an hour, then remove the lid and add five-spice powder and sugar, continue cooking for half an hour until most of the liquid is gone.

4. Add monosodium glutamate before serving. Garnish with white sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Take a piece and put it in your mouth; it melts in your mouth.

5. Delicious

Tips:
Since I do not use an electric pressure cooker, the process takes longer but is very flavorful. Patience is key when making dishes for family, as it shows love and care.
