Homely Delicious Tofu Skin Recipe Steps:

1. Ingredients: Sufficient pork belly, half a box of tofu skin, several pieces of rehydrated black fungus, one cucumber,Radicchio A piece, green onion white part, star anise one, ginger a small piece, garlic several cloves, dried chili peppers several pieces

2. Wash the pork belly and cut it into thin slices; I injured my index finger yesterday so couldn't use force to chop, hence not very thin.

3. Mix the pork belly with some dark soy sauce, a little salt, appropriate amount of rice wine, a bit of ginger powder, a bit of cumin seeds, a bit of edible oil, stir well and marinate for later use. You can actually skip the marinade step and just cook it; I prefer to marinate, but you can do as you like. If you skip the marinade, make sure to add rice wine when frying to remove the fishy smell.

4. Peel and wash the radicchio, cucumber, ginger, garlic, green onion white part, dried chili peppers, star anise; rinse them thoroughly. Wash the rehydrated black fungus, clean it with water, drain, and pat dry, then wash the tofu skin. Yesterday I had a leftover half of Red pepper, washed for later use

5. Cut the tofu skin into slices, set aside for later use

6. Heat a pan with appropriate amount of sesame oil and fry the tofu skin on low heat. Since I used sesame oil, the fried tofu turned light yellow.

7. Remove the fried tofu skin from the pan to be used later; if you find the oil is too much, absorb some with paper towels. The tofu skin will puff up and then contract after frying.

8. Slice the radicchio and cucumber for later use

9. Cut the ginger into slices, peel the garlic cloves, cut the green onion white part diagonally, cut the dried chili peppers into segments; set them aside for later use

10. Tear the black fungus into small pieces, cut the red pepper into small pieces and prepare accordingly.

11. Heat a pan with a little oil and add the pork belly slices to stir-fry until they release their fat.

12. Stir-fry until the pork is about 80% done; you can drain off the excess oil if desired or simply move it aside in the pan.

13. Add ginger slices, garlic slices, and star anise; stir-fry to release the aroma

14. Add green onion white part, dried chili peppers, stir-fry until fragrant

15. Add radicchio slices, stir-fry

16. Add black fungus, stir-fry

17. Place the fried tofu skin in the pan, stir-fry evenly.

18. Pour in a little dark soy sauce to give the radicchio, black fungus, and tofu an initial flavor; stir-fry evenly.

19. Add the almost cooked pork slices, pour a small amount of water, stir-fry for two minutes.

20. Add cucumber slices, stir-fry evenly

21. Add appropriate amount of oyster sauce and sugar, stir-fry for one or two minutes.

22. Finally, add red pepper pieces, stir-fry evenly.

23. Taste the dish, adjust with a little salt and MSG if needed; it's ready to be served.
