How to Pan-Fry Basa Fish

When shopping at the supermarket, I saw basa fish fillets and decided to buy them to try frying, but didn't peel off the skin.The flesh is very tender, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior after frying—quite good! Main ingredients
250 grams of basa fish
1 potato Auxiliary ingredients 2 tablespoons of plant oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper 1 lemon 30 grams of cornstarch 1 green onion 1/2 a garlic bulb 20 grams of butter. Mix the basa fish, potato, lemon, green onions, butter, garlic slices, salt, black pepper, and cornstarch. Peel and cut the potato into small pieces. In a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, pour in the potato, and add some salt. Boil for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are soft. Drain and set aside. Dry the basa fish and marinate it with salt and black pepper. Coat with cornstarch, then let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Chop the green onions and slice the garlic. Heat an appropriate amount of oil in a pan, add the potato pieces and fry until golden brown. Season with salt and black pepper, then add the green onion slices and garlic, and cook before removing from the pot.
In another hot pan with more oil, reduce heat to medium-low and place the basa fish. Fry for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip to fry for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown.
Add butter, let it melt, and pour over the fish. Cook for another 1-2 minutes before removing the fillets and placing them on a plate.In the remaining butter in the pan, heat it over low heat, add half of the lemon juice, mix well, then sprinkle with green onions. Stir gently and remove from heat. Pour the sauce over the fish to complete the dish!

Cooking tips

This is a common method I use for frying fish; it can be referenced by everyone;

When frying fish, try not to flip too much or the fish meat may break easily;

The best way to make the sauce is to pour the melted butter and lemon juice over the green onions and mix gently to maintain their fresh green color.

Heat a suitable amount of oil in the pot, add the potato cubes and fry until they turn golden brown. Season with salt and black pepper, then add green onions and garlic slices to stir-fry until fragrant, then remove from heat and serve.

In another hot oiled pan over low heat, place the basa fish and fry until the surface turns golden yellow, about 4 minutes. Try not to flip the fish too much to avoid breaking it.

Flip the other side and fry until it turns golden yellow as well, approximately 2 minutes.

Add butter and let it melt, then pour the melted butter over the fish. Fry for 1-2 minutes more, then remove the fish fillets with a fork and serve on the plate.

In the remaining butter in the pot, heat over low heat and squeeze half a lemon into it.Stir evenly, then sprinkle green onions, gently stir once or twice before removing from heat. Pour the sauce over the fish pieces to finish!
