How to Make Fried Tofu

Tofu is a food mainly made from yellow beans,originating in China and widely popular in Vietnam, Japan, and the Korean Peninsula. It is said to have been invented by Liu An, an alchemist and the Prince of Huainan in ancient China. With over two thousand one hundred years of history, it has gained immense popularity among people in China and beyond. To this day, there are numerous varieties, each with unique flavors, simple preparation methods, and convenient to eat. It is high in protein, low in fat,and has the effects of lowering blood pressure, lowering cholesterol levels,and reducing cholesterol content. It can be eaten both raw and cooked and suitable for all ages, making it a healthy food for longevity and well-being. Stir-fried tofu is a common home dishmade mainly from firm tofu,which cannot become shaped when too soft. The ingredients include:

main ingredient: tofu (300 grams) Green peppers (2),
ginger (20 grams),garlic (20 grams). Seasonings: salt (2 grams),vegetable oil ( ), doubanjiang sauce (1 tablespoon), water ( ), soy sauce (2 tablespoons).Steps to make stir-fried tofu: Prepare the ingredients and clean them, soak the tofu in salty water for 10 minutes, let it dry, then cut into thick slices,mince the ginger and garlic, slice the green peppers. In a non-stick pan, add oil and fry the tofu over low heat until slightly golden on one side,
then flip and fry the other side to be slightly golden,

mix in minced ginger, garlic, and doubanjiang sauce,

add the green peppers and stir-fry until they are soft,

season with salt and soy sauce, add a little water and simmer for two minutes before serving.

TIP:

The tofu should be fried to a light golden color; do not overcook it or it will become tough.

Fry both sides until slightly yellow, then add ginger, garlic, and (doubanjiang) and stir-fry evenly.

Next, add the green peppers and stir-fry.

Stir-fry until the green peppers become soft, then add salt and soy sauce to season. Add a little water and braise for two minutes before serving.
Tip:
Fry the tofu slightly until it is slightly yellow; do not fry it too dark or dry, as it will affect the texture.
