How to Make Skewered Meat BBQ

The most loved dish is toothpick meat, regardless of whether it's seasoned with Ziran or spicy Sichuan flavors, I love them all.Use an oven instead, no oil needed to achieve a perfect taste for the toothpick meat. You can choose your preferred flavor according to your liking; just add corresponding seasonings.

The ingredients are introduced as follows: Main ingredients:
Pork belly (500 grams) Side ingredients: cooking wine (1 tablespoon),Tsp of Sichuan pepper, Cumin powder (1 teaspoon), Oyster sauce (1 tablespoon), Salt (to taste),Soy sauce(1 tablespoon)Sugar(1 tablespoon)Red pepper powder (to taste)
Steps to make toothpick meat:

Wash the pork belly several times.

Cut it into 2 cm square pieces and place them in a large bowl.

Do not cut too small, as the meat will shrink when roasted.

Add cooking wine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, cumin powder, and Sichuan pepper powder; add salt according to taste.

Finally, add red pepper powder if you like spicy food.

Mix well, cover with cling film, and let it marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.

Soak toothpicks in water several hours in advance; this prevents them from burning easily when roasted.

Arrange the marinated meat on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil without inserting the toothpicks yet.

Preheat the oven and bake it at middle rack, 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Flip the pieces over and sprinkle some additional seasonings. Insert the toothpicks into each piece of meat now to prevent them from burning during baking.

Re-bake in the oven for another 6-10 minutes or until cooked thoroughly, depending on the size of the meat.
