How to make fish tofu

To talk about fish milk tofu, everyone would associate them with hot pot, or instant boiled food! My daughter loves to eat fish milk tofu very much, but due to mixed quality in the market, we have to make it ourselves for a healthier choice!

Main ingredient: cod (250 grams)tapioca starch (1 spoon)(half spoon)pepper powder(a little bit)soy sauce(half spoon) salt (a little bit) salad oil ( )
Kitchen tools: blender, electric oven Category snack salt and fresh baked for 30 minutes simple difficulty
Making zero-additive homemade fish milk tofu:

1. Wash the fish meat, remove any bones if present, I used cod fillet

2. Squeeze out the moisture with kitchen paper

3. Cut the fish meat into small pieces and remove any membrane attached to it

4. Add a little cooking wine

5. Add a bit of salt and pepper powder, mix well

6. Transfer the fish meat into the blending cup of the blender

7. Cover with lid and plug in power, select the blending button, machine starts working

8. This is the blended fish paste, very fine

9. Add a little bit of tapioca starch and soy sauce

10. Mix by hand in one direction until evenly combined

11. Any mold that can go into the oven can be used, lightly coat with oil inside

12. Pour the fish paste into the mold, level the surface, press to compact it

13. Bake at 160 degrees for about 25 minutes in the oven

14. Take out

15. Allow a little cooling time before demolding, cut into small pieces, children can eat now

16. I also heated a small wok with oil and added the fish tofu

17. Fry until golden yellow, then remove
Tips:
1 I used boneless cod fillet without any bones, when using other types of fish, make sure to remove all the bones first, my fish meat quantity was a bit less, it's better to use about 2 pieces weighing around 500 grams for easier blending, but you can also use a whisk for this type of fish meat. 2 Tapioca starch gives a chewy texture, other types of starches can be used as well.
