How to cut beautiful mushroom flowers

We are eating outside Hot pot When we were young, we often saw restaurants Shiitake mushrooms cut very beautifully, with a six-petaled small flower on top, very beautiful. So I had a sudden idea, I want to teach everyone how to cut shiitake mushroom flowers.

A seemingly "nonsense" way to cut shiitake mushroom flowers:
1. Wash the shiitake mushroom, cut the first slice at a 45-degree angle;
2. Rotate the shiitake mushroom 180 degrees, cut the second slice at an angle, or just cut it like me, reverse cutting the second slice is also OK;
3. After completing the first two steps, a long, slender shape is cut, don't throw away the scraps, you can also use them in cooking;

4. Rotate the shiitake mushroom and cut the third and fourth slices, after cutting these two slices, the angle between the two slices is about 60 degrees, actually, it doesn't have to be so strict, just cut it as you like;
5. Continue to repeat the above method to cut the last two slices, so a beautiful shiitake mushroom flower is cut!

Tips
1. Don't cut too deep, just cut the shiitake mushroom flower to 1/3 or half the thickness;
2. Cutting shiitake mushrooms is quite casual, you don't need to find that angle, you don't need to use a ruler, just practice, you will master the technique after cutting a few;
3. Don't waste the scraps, just throw them directly into the hot pot soup base!
