Homemade Yam and Cranberry Pudding Recipe


Yam has nourishing and strengthening effects, aids digestion, stops sweating, and diarrhea. The white yam is dotted with Meyer cranberries.. They complement each other well; I often enjoy eating yams,steamed. This time, I tried adding some milk and Meyer cranberries, which turned out even better than expected.
Ingredients Main ingredients:Yam stick one, 1 tablespoon of milk, a few Meyer cranberries,blueberry jama little bit, a little rum.
Steps

Meyer cranberries are soaked with a little rum for several hours.

Rinse the yam and cut it into small pieces.

Place the water inside the breakfast machine and put the yam pieces in the pot,. selecting the steam function. It should take about 30 minutes.

Use a toothpick to check if it's soft; peel off the skin when done.

Using the back of a spoon, mash the hot yam until smooth.

(It is best to sieve it for better texture)Add milk and mix well.

Add soaked Meyer cranberry pieces and stir evenly.

Divide 45g into round cylinders.

Applyolive oil to the mold (other oils can be used), place the yam mixture inside, and gently press down. Use a knife to remove any excess from the bottom and carefully demold.

Serve withblueberry jam . Tips
1. Choose good-quality yams that are easy to steam.
2. For better texture, it's recommended to sieve the mixture.
