Homestyle Way to Make Yam Pancakes

The method for making yam pancake, this pancake is delicious and nutritious with added yam puree

15 grams of butter,

2 grams of olive oil,120 grams of milk, 2 grams of baking powder, and 50 grams of yam. Preparation:Melt the butter by heating it with water before use. Wash and peel the yam, then grind it into puree. Sift the low flour. Method steps:1. Place the low flour, egg, sugar, salt, olive oil, milk, and baking powder in a bowl, mix them in one direction to form a smooth batter without any lumps. 2. Add the melted butter into the batter and continue mixing until it is uniform and free of lumps. Then add yam puree and mix again until the batter is fine and lump-free.3. Dry the non-stick pan with kitchen paper, place the mold on the pan, pour an appropriate amount of batter into each mold, then cook over low heat until small air holes appear on the surface. Flip it and continue cooking. 4. Cook until both sides are golden brown before removing from the pan to eat.

Additional notes:

Since butter and olive oil have already been added in the batter, there is no need to brush any additional oil onto the pan while cooking the pancake.

Molds can be used just for decorative purposes. If you do not have molds, pour the batter directly into the pan and spread it into a round shape.

You can use a fine grater to make the yam puree, or any other tool is also acceptable.

Mix the melted butter into the batter and stir until well combined, then add the yam paste and stir until the batter is smooth with no lumps.

Dry the non-stick skillet with paper towels, place the pancake mold inside the pan, pour an appropriate amount of batter into each mold, and cook over low heat until small air holes appear on the surface, then flip and continue cooking.

Once both sides of the pancakes are golden brown, they can be removed from the pan to serve.

Additional notes:

Since butter and olive oil have already been added to the batter, there is no need to brush the skillet with oil before cooking the pancakes.

Using a mold makes the pancakes look prettier, but if you don't have one, you can pour the batter directly into the pan and spread it out into round pancakes.

I used a fine grater for the yam paste, but you can use other tools as well.
