Homemade Cake Donut Recipe


Ingredients:Low-gluten flour 70 grams, High-gluten flour 110 grams, Butter 16 grams, sugar 40 grams, salt 1/4 teaspoon, Milk powder 5 grams, Egg yolk 1 piece, water 90 grams, baking powder 7 grams, Chocolate Appropriate amount, sugar needles appropriate Steps:
1. Prepare the ingredients.

2. Soften the butter and add fine sugar, salt, milk powder.
3. Mix evenly.
4. Add egg yolk.
5. Continue mixing until smooth.
6. Pour the mixed butter into water and continue to mix smoothly.
7. Sift low-gluten flour, high-gluten flour, and baking powder together and add them to the mixture.

8. Knead into a dough by hand and let it rest for half an hour.
9. Roll out the rested dough on the work surface to 1cm thickness, then let it rest for another 15 minutes.
10. Use
donut molds to cut out donut shapes from the dough. 11. Brush oil on the cut donut dough and place them in the air fryer basket.

12. Insert the basket into the air fryer, set temperature at 180 degrees Celsius, and cook for 15 minutes.
13. Check during cooking if needed. Once cooked, let the donuts cool completely before melting chocolate to dip them, then sprinkle with colored sugar needles as decoration.
Tips:
1. Knead the dough until it forms a ball, but do not overwork it. Let the rested dough rest for half an hour, which makes it easier to handle.
2. Any leftover dough can be kneaded back into a ball, let it rest again for 15 minutes, and then roll out and cut it once more.
