Supreme Tangyuan Ingredients Introduction
Main ingredients:
glutinous rice flour(400g) pumpkin(one) carrot purple sweet potato(a few)winter melon( )
Auxiliary ingredients:
black sesame seeds inner filling ( ) dry osmanthus flowers(a little)
Supreme Tangyuan preparation steps:
1. Wash and cut the pumpkin, purple sweet potato, and carrot into pieces.2. Steam over high heat until fully cooked, then cool down. 3. Blend the pumpkin and purple sweet potato into purees in a blender.

4. Measure out glutinous rice flour and mix it with the pumpkin and purple sweet potato purees, gradually adding water to form dough.5. Knead until smooth and pliable. 6. Repeat the same process for the purple sweet potato dough.

7. Roll each dough into a long strip, cut it into equal-sized portions, flatten them with your hands into round sheets, place the prepared black sesame seed filling in the center, seal it up, and gently shape it back into a sphere.

8. Repeat for all tangyuan.9. Tangyuan can be stored frozen. 10. When ready to eat, bring water to a boil in a pot.

11. Add the tangyuan and cook for about 5-8 minutes or until they float.

12. Remove from heat, serve in a bowl, and sprinkle with a little dried osmanthus flowers before eating.

Tip:

Carrots are blended together with pumpkins in batches to avoid overly thin dough, and handle the tangyuan gently when shaping them.

Dumplings can be stored in the freezer in the refrigerator.

When eating, boil water in a pot and add the dumplings.

Cook for about 5-8 minutes; the dumplings are done when they float to the surface.

Remove them, serve in a bowl, and sprinkle with a little dried osmanthus flowers to eat.
