With the weather getting colder, do you find yourself less likely to make sandwiches for your children in the morning?Now that it's colder, why not prepare warm rice porridge instead of sandwiches? Today, I would like to recommend a simple and nutritious rice porridge recipe.

Ingredients are easily accessible,such as green vegetables, squash,dried shrimps, leftover cold rice, olive oil,salt, monosodium glutamate (MSG),(optional). Wash the green vegetables and squash, then cut them into small pieces.
Note that you should separate the leaves from the stems when cooking. Cooking process:

1. Pour an appropriate amount of olive oil into a pan;
2. Sauté the dried shrimps until fragrant;
3. Add the squash and stem parts first, stir-fry evenly;
4. Add the leftover cold rice, use a spatula to separate each grain as much as possible, stir-fry until the grains are slightly colored;
5. Pour boiling water and sprinkle all the vegetable leaf pieces on top;6. Bring it to a boil, then add an appropriate amount of salt and MSG (optional), and you're done. Cooking tip:
This simple rice porridge is indeed easy to make; the key to making it tasty lies in stir-frying the cold rice thoroughly so that each grain is well integrated with oil and vegetable juice. Cook over high heat for a short time to ensure the grains have a slight crunch while fully absorbing flavors.
If you prefer a thicker porridge, increase the cooking time after adding boiling water; add the vegetable leaf pieces and seasonings towards the end of cooking.

This simple sharing of cooking is about a porridge.
The key to making it delicious is that the cold rice must be fried, allowing each grain to absorb the oil and vegetable flavors. When boiling, use high heat for a few minutes to quickly bring it to a vigorous boil, ensuring the rice grains have texture while also quickly absorbing the flavor.
If you prefer a thicker porridge, increase the cooking time after adding boiling water. Add the leafy vegetables and seasoning at the end of the cooking time.
