Homemade Black Sesame Mixed Flour Steamed Cake Recipe


Every time my son sees the dates and almond cakes in the supermarket.He likes to buy one for himself, always offering me a piece, which is both fragrant and soft.However, as his mother most concerned about his health and growth, I can't ignore their sugary taste. So on weekends, I spend some time in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes that fill my home with a delightful aroma.Black sesame flour
and sesame seeds are used in making black sesame and almond steamed cake.The recipe includes:

200 grams of white flour,50 grams of corn flour, 50 grams of roasted black sesame seeds, 40 grams of sugar, and some dried longan and walnuts. Method:Use a blender to grind the black sesame into powder. Milk, sugar, and yeast should be mixed together until the yeast dissolves completely.Add the white flour, corn flour, and black sesame powder to the mixture. Stir well.Grease a 6-inch springform cake mold and pour in the batter, spreading it evenly. Cover and let it rise.Raise until the mold is about 80% full. Decorate the surface with date meat and walnut pieces; use any preferred dry fruits for decoration.
Steam the cake in a steamer pot after the water boils for 30 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 more minutes before opening.
Once done, demold by running a knife around the edges of the mold to release the cake.
Note:The softness or firmness of the steamed cake can be adjusted; less milk will make it firmer while more milk will make it softer. Any dry fruits can be used for decoration on top. Syrup, yeast, mix well until the yeast dissolves.

5. Take a 6-inch springform cake mold.pancake mold, grease the bottom, pour in the batter, level it, cover, and let it ferment.
6. Ferment until the mold is 80% full.
7. Decorate the surface with dried jujube meat and walnut pieces; use any dry fruits of your choice.
8. Place it in a steamer pot.steam pot, steam for 30 minutes after the water boils, let it sit for 5 minutes before opening.
9. Remove once cooked, run a knife around the mold to release and invert out.
