Crunchy Potato Patty Preparation Steps:
Boil and peel the potatoes.

Mash them into a nearly smooth paste, leaving some small pieces for better texture.

Chop the onion finely and keep it ready with the meat.

Fry the onion on medium heat until it turns color. Then add in the meat and stir-fry together. Season with salt and black pepper at this stage.

Once cooked, transfer to a container for the potato paste. You can season with more salt and black pepper here if desired.Mix well and set aside. Rub your hands with oil to prevent sticking. Shape an amount of the potato mixture into oval shapes; I divided them into 8 pieces.

Prepare flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs.

Coat each patty lightly in flour.

Then dip it in the egg wash so that all sides are covered evenly. Skipping this step can affect the next step of coating with bread crumbs.

Finally, coat them with the bread crumbs to finish. All patties should be prepared now and kept ready.

When ready, start frying the patties.

Heat oil at 170°C; since the interior is already cooked, just fry until the surface becomes crispy, about 3 minutes.

Arrange lettuce in a plate and cut the patty into halves for presentation.
