Soy milk burger beef patty cooking steps:
Prepare the ingredients: ground beef, egg liquid, soy milk, bread crumbs

Chop the onion into small pieces and sauté in a little oil over low heat until fully cooked.

Mix the ground beef, chopped onion, soy milk, bread crumbs, and egg liquid together. Season with an appropriate amount of salt and black pepper at this point.

Stir the mixture thoroughly in one direction to ensure all ingredients are well combined and the meat has a sticky texture.

Divide the mixture into three portions for 3 servings. Take one portion and, using your hands (wearing gloves), gently work it until air is expelled and form an oval patty. Slightly flatten the center of the patty with your palm to create a slight depression.

If you cannot obtain pre-made sauce, I will introduce a recipe for dark vinegar sauce; please refer to the quantity in step 27. Boil all the seasonings and water together until thoroughly combined. Allow it to simmer for some time to mellow the taste of the dark vinegar, then thicken with a small amount of starch dissolved in water and set aside. Do not make the sauce too thick; it should be slightly thin. If you can purchase pre-made sauce, skip this step.

For one serving, heat the pan and add a little oil. Using a spatula, transfer the patty to the pan and sear both sides until they are colored.

Add 30cc of water (100cc for three patties) after coloring both sides.

Cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes; check if the moisture has evaporated. If there is still moisture, continue cooking until it is dry. The meat juice should be white when poked with a toothpick to ensure the beef is fully cooked.

When the patty is cooked, its interior will be full of juicy meat and slightly thicker than before, indicating success in preparation.

Arrange some lettuce and pour sauce over them for serving.

1Tip:
It's recommended to consume more lettuce when eating this dish for balanced nutrition. The use of dark vinegar makes the meat less greasy; reduce its amount if your children do not like it. Adjust the heat according to personal preference and monitor during cooking.
